Preparation and Storage
Step 1: Add pasta to plenty of boiling salted water (1 tablespoon of salt for each litre of water).
Step 2: Boil for 8 minutes for a firm āAl denteā texture, stirring occasionally.
For a more tender pasta, cook 2-3 minutes more.
Step 3: Drain well, immediately mix it with your favourite sauce and enjoy!
400gr Barilla Spaghetti, 4 garlic cloves crushed, 4 small chilies thinly sliced, 250gr clams, 250gr mussels, 12 prawns, 100gr cherry tomatoes halved, 10 leaves of parsley finely chopped, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper.
Preparation time: 20 min. - Serves: 4
1. Bring plenty of water to the boil in a big pot. When boiling, add salt. Drop the Barilla Spaghetti into the water and stir. Cook according to the instructions on the pack.
2. Meanwhile add oil in a large frying pan, when warm add garlic and chili and cook on a very gentle heat until garlic turns brown in colour. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes on a medium heat, then add the prawns, clams and mussels and stir. Cover the pan with a lid. Keep cooking until all the clams and mussels have opened.
3. Drain the pasta 1-2 minutes before the suggested time and toss with the seafood until most juices have been absorbed by the pasta. Add parsley and toss. Finish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and cracked black pepper.
